BIG news!!!

It has been a REALLY good week! We met with Dr. Reddy on Thursday and got the news. We will not be resuming treatment. Braden is officially done!! I think we are still in shock. At this point, it just isn't worth the risk to Braden's vision and the research supports stopping. Although Braden didn't complete the entire year, we feel really good about the decision. He has a long life ahead of him and we really don't want to compromise his eye sight! Dr. Reddy continues to be very reassuring that we have completed the most important part of treatment which is the vigorous first month. So proud of Braden for making it over 6 months. After being off treatment now for a couple weeks, he is feeling fantastic! He even push mowed the yard today:) These are big achievements!

Thank you so much for all your prayers, love and support. The next step for Braden is a whole body PET scan in December. They will also be watching his eyes and we pray for complete healing! I continue to pray that Braden gets stronger each day. God continues to show us how awesome he is! We have completely given this to him. There is no room for doubt or fear in our hearts. We would have never made it this far without all of you!!
